Ranthambhore

Considered as one of the hugest national park of India, Ranthambhore is listed among one of the highest visited places of Rajasthan. The Ranthambhore national Park is a very huge place as it is spread over an area of about 275 sq km and of about 500 meters above the sea level. This is not a private park and is undertaken by the government of Rajasthan. The Ranthambhore national park is also involved in the Project Save Tigers which is actually undertaken for the matter of decreasing population of the tigers in India. Apart from tigers, the Ranthambhore National Park is also famous for the other wildlife species that are present there. you will find leopards, wild boras, chitals, nilgais, sloth bears, and many other specises of animals in this park. The closest city to the Ranthambhore national park is Jaipur so if you are willing to visit this place you can go via Jaipur.

Jaipur is a big town in Rajasthan and there are many flights coming to and fro from the major cities of India. From Jaipur the Ranthambhore national park is about 200 kilometers away.

Apart from this you can also go via rail and get down at Sawai Madhopur as it is the nearest railway station. It is just at a distance of 11 kilometers from the station.
