Mall is the prime attraction of Shimla for the tourist. This is because it is the center to innumerous restaurants, shops, a heritage theater and also a focus of high spirits. Next to the mall is the Lkkad and Tibetian bazaar.

The most important building on the Mall is the yellow Christ church. This church is considered to be the second largest church in northern India. The church is designed by Colonel JT Boileau in the year 1844. The silhouette of the church can be seen on the skyline from a long distance around.

Himachal state library is the one that is situated near the mall area of the city of Shimla. This is the library wherein you can found historical books, manuscripts, notes as well as ancient records.

If you prefer to go by railways then the nearest station is Kalka which is four hours from Delhi. Then you need to take mountain train from Kalka to Shimla.

If airways are comfortable for you check out the airport which is 22km from the main city and has flights from Delhi and Kullu. Chandigarh airport is also nearby. From the airport you can opt for cabs to reach this place. There are many attractions at this place and if you want to have a look at them hiring cab would be a better and a convenient option.
