Yamunotri is a beautiful place which is situated in the lap of Himalayas opposite to Gangotri. There is a road opposite to Gangotri which bifurcates from Dharasu and goes to Yamunotri. You can visit this place from Mussorie. This is a very popular tourist destination as it is one of the major destinations of Char Dham Yatra.

One of the majestic and holy sights situated in the middle of the wide plateau enclosed by lofty snow covered peaks is Kedarnath. It is one of the twelve ‘Jotrilingas’ of Lord Shiva located at the altitude of three thousand five hundred and eight four meters above the river Mandakini. It is basically located in Uttarkashi district of northern state of Uttaranchal.

Considered as one of the holiest place in India, Gangotri is one among the 4 pilgrims of the Hindus.
