Yamunotri is a beautiful place which is situated in the lap of Himalayas opposite to Gangotri. There is a road opposite to Gangotri which bifurcates from Dharasu and goes to Yamunotri. You can visit this place from Mussorie. This is a very popular tourist destination as it is one of the major destinations of Char Dham Yatra.

One of the majestic and holy sights situated in the middle of the wide plateau enclosed by lofty snow covered peaks is Kedarnath. It is one of the twelve ‘Jotrilingas’ of Lord Shiva located at the altitude of three thousand five hundred and eight four meters above the river Mandakini. It is basically located in Uttarkashi district of northern state of Uttaranchal.

Considered as one of the holiest place in India, Gangotri is one among the 4 pilgrims of the Hindus. Situated at about 3000 meters above the sea level, this place is surrounded by the beautiful hills of Garhwal. Gangotri has a beautiful scenic view which lures international tourists to go there. There is a deep history of this holy place. It is said that Goddess Ganga turned herself as a river so that she can forgive all the sins of the ancestors of King Bhagirath.

Between the famous mountains of Nar and Narayan and along the bank of river Alakanda; Badrinath is located. This is one of the holiest places among the four major shrines of Hindus. It is considered to be a very important place in the Char Dham yatra. It is the dream of every Hindu devotee to visit this holy place at least once in a life time. This is one place where it has been a myth for number of years that Lord Shiva is being residing here.
